ABOUT CODYCody Hassell, a musical talent born in Alton, IL, and raised in Oklahoma, discovered his love for music in high school through choir and drama. He honed his skills running mixers, playing guitar, and even forming his first band, "Sukerpunch Suzie," in 2010. The band gained local fame, playing various gigs and winning accolades.
Post-Sukerpunch era, Cody embraced solo acoustic performances before joining "Small Town Sound." His versatile role in the band saw them play at renowned venues and receive heavy play on streaming radio stations. After the band disbanded in 2016, Cody became the Live Sound Tech at Vices Bar & Venue, mixing for local and touring bands.
Despite his technical prowess, Cody continues to enchant audiences with his acoustic guitar and hosts "Song Swaps." Offstage, he's a devoted husband and father of two, weaving a personal and musical legacy in the vibrant tapestry of Oklahoma's music scene.
